Project Overview:
The initiative focuses on the comprehensive cleanup of George Street to enhance its appearance and safety. The effort involves removing dirt, weeds, and debris along various sections of the street.
Project #1: Road Cleanup
Activity Leader:Â Bridget Thomson
Objective:Â Utilize contractor brooms to clear dirt and weeds from the side of the road.
Plan:
Sweep the dirt and weeds from the edges of the road towards the center.
Volunteers with gloves will then collect the debris and place it into trash bags.
Ensure all swept debris is properly bagged and disposed of.
Tools Needed:Â Contractor Brooms

Project #2: Upper George Street Cleanup

Use hand shovels and mini hand rakes to gather dirt, leaves, and weeds from the roadside.
Wear protective gloves to safely collect and bag the debris.
