Sixteen sites in a single day: two playgrounds, two STEAM classrooms, a food pantry, and painted games.
What was built

Every site matters, but these two show what a Build Day actually takes: what the space looked like before, who did the work, and what the neighborhood got at the end of it.
Holland Park
2026A playground for the neighborhood
Holland Park is a public park, not a school. Its basketball courts drew people in, but the open field beside them had nothing for younger kids. W4W worked with the City of Worcester Parks & Recreation and the park's neighborhood association to put a full play structure there, free to use, with no bell schedule and no gate.

2026A disused library, rebuilt as a STEAM classroom
The school's old library was cleared, painted, and rebuilt as a dedicated STEAM classroom. It took three groups: the W4W team stripped the room out, students from Worcester Arts School painted it, and Build Day volunteers assembled and finished it.
