Worcester Public Schools (WPS) Special Education- Transition Program

The WPS Transition Program serves students 18-22 years old by helping prepare them for real world success.  Currently, the Transition Program utilizes two separate rooms: a classroom and a teachers/storage room.  These spaces, however, are poorly arranged and not overly functional.  By helping to better organize these room, Working for Worcester will create a better learning environment for both the teachers and students of the Transition Program.  Objectives of the proposed project include:
  • Renovating & organizing both rooms
  • Adding shelving to the teacher room
  • Painting the walls of both rooms
