West Tatnuck School

Working for Worcester's project at West Tatnuck School will greatly benefit the roughly 350 students in grades pre-k through 6th, along with the dozens of children from the surrounding neighborhoods, that utilize the school's outdoor play areas on a daily basis.  In addition to making the necessary repairs to the existing play structure, Working for Worcester hopes to increase the variety of play options at West Tatnuck.  Project objectives include:
  • Renovating the currently existing playground
  • Painting basketball lines to create a regulation court
  • Removing large amounts of brush around the play area
  • Adding bushes/shrubs throughout the space
