Sabrina Ramos: Co-Executive Director

Sabrina is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and a native of Milford, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and Anthropology. Sabrina joined Working for Worcester in Year 7 and served as a volunteer. Since then, she has served as a site manager at Columbus Park during year 8 and on the leadership team as a site director during year 9. Sabrina’s passion for Working for Worcester comes from her sister, Karina, who encouraged her to get involved during her first year. Sabrina is dedicated to giving back to Worcester, seeing everyone come together on build day, and seeing everyone’s smiling faces the first day back after build day!

Jules is a senior student-athlete at the College of the Holy Cross and is studying sociology and concentrating in peace and conflict studies as well as Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean studies. Jules grew up in Worcester, and is fiercely loyal to her city! Jules was at the first Working for Worcester Build Day back in 2013, and is honored to now be a co-executive director for Working for Worcester’s 10th year. She served as site manager at Girls Inc. during her sophomore year, and was a co-director of volunteer recruitment during her junior year when she went abroad to the University of Oxford. Jules' favorite part about Working for Worcester is that she is able to give love and show appreciation to the city and community that raised her!

Emma is currently a senior at the College of the Holy Cross from Brockton, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Mathematics, while pursuing a minor in Environmental Studies. Emma joined the Working for Worcester team as a freshman, volunteering at a basketball court in a local neighborhood. Come sophomore year, she took a site manager position at North High School. With Holy Cross being her father’s alma mater, Emma developed a relationship with the Worcester community early on and is excited to continue doing so serving as Co-Director of Public Relations on the Leadership Team. Giving back to her home away from home has taught Emma to look beyond the familiar and to incorporate mindfulness wherever she goes.

Riley is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross pursuing a degree in Biology and minoring in Anthropology on a pre-med track. Riley is native of Clinton, MA and has been involved in Working for Worcester since her 1st year where she joined as a volunteer. Sophomore year, Riley worked as a site manager for North High School before joining the executive team her junior year as a part of the Community Relations team. This year, Riley is returning to the executive team as a Co-Director of PRESM. For Year 10, Riley is so excited to continue fostering connections with members of the Worcester community and getting to know the city.

Kat is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Business, Ethics, and Society. Kat joined Working for Worcester in year ten and is excited to work on the Community Relations team. While this is her  first year with Working for Worcester, Kat has been engaged with various service projects in the Worcester community for years. She looks forward to being a part of this incredible team and giving back to the community she calls home.

Maggie is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross from Norwood, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science. She joined Working for Worcester her first-year as a volunteer, continued as a director of Fundraising, and this year is a Co-Director of Community Relations. Maggie is passionate about the Worcester community and hopes that this year the W4W team can provide even more joy to the kids in the city.

Ryan is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross but is originally from Ashburn, VA. Ryan is working towards an economics degree while also being a member of the men’s ice hockey team. Ryan has volunteered during Working for Worcester’s annual build days in the past but he looks forward to stepping into a larger role on the fundraising team and doing a lot of good for a community that deserves it. Ryan decided to join Working of Worcester in year ten to branch out from hockey and become more immersed in the community. ​

Nick is a junior at the College of the Holy Cross, majoring in economics. He is from Raleigh, North Carolina and has been involved in community service events with the Carolina hurricanes in the past. Nick is looking forward to working with the people of Worcester and striving to make our community a better place. Nick is a member of the Men’s Ice Hockey team at The College and while he has spent much of his time at Holy Cross with his team and it’s activities, he is excited to branch out and grow closer to the community that supports his team.

Caitlin is a junior at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Gorham, Maine. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biology with a concentration in Biochemistry. Caitlin joined Working for Worcester in Year 8 as a Site Manager at Columbus Park High School and joined the leadership team in year 9 as a Co-Director of Site Development. She is returning in year 10 as the Director of Inventory and Purchasing. Caitlin is excited to be a part of the energy and scale of a once again full-blown Build Day on an anniversary year!

Dani is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Oakland, New Jersey. She is currently pursuing a degree in History, with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. Along with Working for Worcester, Dani is a member of the Varsity Swim Team and a midshipman in the NROTC unit at Holy Cross. Dani has been a part of the Working for Worcester team for three years, and is looking forward to continuing this year as Director of Site Development and participating in Build Day Year 10!

Allison is a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a History and Sociology double major who is joining Working for Worcester in Year 10 as a site director. Being from the midwest, Allison is excited to join this team and immerse herself in the city of Worcester through volunteer and community work. In addition to Working for Worcester, Allison serves as a Gateways Orientation leader, a member of the Feminist Forum E-Board, a consultant in the Writer’s Workshop, and a singer in the Chapel Choir. Worcester has quickly become a second home to Allison and she cannot wait to give back to the community.

Ellie is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Rye, New York. Ellie is majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Peace and Conflict. This is Ellie’s Fourth year on the working for Worcester team and her first year on the management team. Ellie is working in Site Development. Ellie loves being part of the Wrocester community. She volunteers at the Worcester Rainbow Room Child Development Center as well. She is very excited to be part of such a great team and give back to the city that has given her so much.  She can not wait for the 10th Build Day!

Thomas is a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross, where he is double majoring in Economics and Asian Studies, along with a language study of Chinese. Introduced to W4W in year 9, Thomas brings his overly enthusiastic persona to the Site Development Team. He is excited to give back to the Worcester community he will call home for the next 3 years!  ​

Aidan is a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross, where he is majoring in Biology.  He is from Hopkinton, Massachusetts but went to high school in the city of Worcester and has been volunteering all over the city for the past six years . He joined Working for Worcester as a volunteer in Year 7 and has volunteered ever since. He is excited to be on the Site Development Team and can’t wait for Year 10’s Build Day!

JT is currently a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Buffalo, New York. He is currently double majoring in History and Psychology, on the Pre-Law/Business track. JT joins Working for Worcester in Year 10 where he will serve as a site director. His interest is inspired by his Immersion Trip to Los Angeles and his various volunteer projects in Buffalo, New York throughout his high school years. This year, J.T. is part of the Holy Cross Gateways Orientation team and also a broadcaster for WCHC Sports. He looks forward to expanding his leadership skills in the community of Worcester.

Charlie is a Junior at the College of the Holy Cross from Larchmont, New York. He is a Computer Science major at the college. Charlie Joined Working for Worcester in Year 8 as a site manager and has been a site director for the last two years. Last year he worked on one of the few remaining playground sites in Worcester, McGrath Elementary School. Charlie aims to better the community that has been supporting him throughout his tenure at Holy Cross. He is excited to see what this year will bring, as it is his first full scale build day!

Renata is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross majoring in Architectural Studies with a minor in French and Francophone Studies from Guayaquil, Ecuador. She has a strong interest in urban and youth development both areas that align with W4W’s  past and future projects. Renata has been involved with W4W since the beginning of her college years having been a  volunteer and a site manager before joining the managing team on Year 9. She’s continuing her role as Director of Volunteer Recruitment, and sees this anniversary year as an opportunity for new faces and voices to join the W4W team. This year is going to be the first Build Day for many people, and she can’t wait for them to discover all the amazing people and opportunities Worcester has to offer!

Hannah is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and is from Watertown, Massachusetts. She is currently double majoring in Psychology and History, where she is writing a thesis for the History Honors Program. Hannah is excited to join the Working for Worcester team in its tenth year as a member of the Recruitment Team. While this is her first year on the team, Hannah has been heavily involved in the Worcester community through her involvement with SPUD and work experience. She hopes to continue to strengthen those relationships, while forging new ones with those who she will be engaging with this year!

JP is a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross and a native of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. He is currently pursuing a degree in International Studies. JP joined Working for Worcester in Year 6 as a volunteer at the Ascension After School Program and has volunteered every year since! He admired the bond the management team shared on his first Build Day and was inspired by the energy Worcester brought to the table. He is thrilled to be a part of the management team and even more excited to give back to the city he calls home. ​

Brielle is a junior at the College of the Holy Cross from New Canaan, Connecticut. She is currently pursuing a degree in economics and is continuing to join the Working for Worcester team for her third year. Brielle has worked as a site manager for Head Start and most recently a co-director for the PRESM team. This year, she is excited to help out again for the Fall semester but will be studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland during the Spring.

Claire joined Working for Worcester her freshman year as a site manager and this is second year on the Managing Team. Although her first Build Day was interrupted by the pandemic, she loved the teamwork and camaraderie that comes with being a part of the managing team. She can’t wait for Build Day this year and to have a great year 10.

She is excited to learn about the various roles and responsibilities that make Working for Worcester all that it has become.
