Fallon Health was a natural partner for Working for Worcester as we both are determined to promote health and wellness for the people in our community. Fallon has been a partner for the student leaders of Working for Worcester because of their expertise and guidance with the community wellness goals of our project. In year two, Fallon was one of our premier sponsors and helped the project grow in reach by helping W4W to connect with local organizations and other stake holders in the wellness of kids in the city. Beyond Fallon’s resource support, the company has also helped us connect with relevant professionals in Worcester’s city government to better connect our project’s goals with the city’s wellness objectives On project day 2014, Fallon employees joined student volunteers to renovate the grounds at Burncoat High School. Fallon’s Director of Community Relations, Kimberly Salmon, is an important part of our project advisory board, through which she empowers the project with her expertise in the wellness issues facing kids and families in the city of Worcester.
