Dismas House- Banis Park

Banis Park is a "pocket park" that serves both the children/families living in the immediate vicinity as well as the children from a nearby school.  Althought the current play structure is large and well maintained, there is still a good deal of unused space within the park.  Working for Worcester, by collaborating with the Dismas House of Worcester, hopes to create a more comprehensive recreational space for the many children and families that frequent the park.  Objectives of the proposed project include:
  • Installing a new playgound/jungle gym structure
  • Planting new bushes/shrubs throughout the park
  • Constucting/installing new benches & seating areas
  • General clean-up & maintenance
