Anyone can become a project sponsor by contributing any of the resources detailed below! Working for Worcester is an initiative of the 501(c)3 Massachusetts registered non-profit organization Students Helping Children Across Borders, Inc. All donations are tax deductible.
General Sponsor
A general sponsorship is a personal or corporate donation of at least $2,500 to the project’s central fund, which supports all of the project’s sites. General sponsors are the backbone of this student movement and will be proudly recognized on our project t-shirts, website, and social media, as well as, at our volunteer registration drives and special events.
Site Sponsor
Site sponsors cover a least 50% of the comprehensive cost of a specific project site, or provide professionally skilled labor to supervise and work at a site to ensure all work is of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Site sponsors will be proudly recognized on our project t-shirts, website, and social media, as well as, at our volunteer registration drives and special events. The Marshall Family Fund sponsored the dance studio program at the Worcester Youth Center. They donated 75% of the comprehensive cost of the project. A plaque to recognize this is installed reading, “The Marshall Family Dance Studio.”
Event Sponsor
Throughout the year, Working for Worcester hosts numerous social events at which hundreds of college students gather. For these events, We are looking for sponsors to donate merchandise for our raffle and silent auction. All event sponsors will be proudly recognized for their generosity and commitment to this city. Some event sponsors include, local restaurants, sports franchises, local businesses, and partnering organizations.
