Bowen Lee Executive Director Bowen is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross and a native of Barrington, Rhode Island. He is a Political Science major with a focus in International Relations and aspirations to work on education policy. Bowen joined Working for Worcester as a freshman and spent three years as part of the Resource Development team. He loves the opportunities he has to work with different stakeholders in the city and hopes to stay in Worcester after graduation.
Jackson Koorse Director of Site Development
Jackson is a Senior at the College of the Holy Cross from Edgartown, MA. He is an Economics Major with a Minor in Environmental Studies. One of his favorite aspects of Working for Worcester is being able to see and experience parts of the city that the average college student would not normally be exposed to. In his fourth year on the project, Jackson returns as Director of Site Development where he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating each of our projects.
Sam Gentile Director of Community Engagement Sam is currently a Senior at the College of the Holy Cross, studying Political Science and Environmental Studies. Sam was born and raised in Chatham, New Jersey. 2016 is Sam's third year with Working for Worcester, and this year he will be leading the Community Engagement branch of the organization. Sam has come to know and love the people of Worcester, and Working for Worcester has given him the opportunity to work closely with the city and its people.
Catherine Noone Director of PR, Events, and Social Media (PRESM) Catherine is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross from Belmont, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Economics. She got involved with W4W her sophomore year. She is director of PRESM, in charge of public relations, events, and social media. Her favorite memory of Working for Worcester was the 2016 rally at City Hall Common. It was amazing to see both the volunteers and city locals taking part in the event, showing the excitement and impact of the project throughout the city. She is looking forward to another year of Working for Worcester, and is excited to see what this year holds!
Dan Haverty Director of Volunteer Recruitment
Dan is currently a Senior at the College of the Holy Cross. Originally from nearby Northbridge, MA, he recently completed a year abroad in Galway, Ireland. He became involved in W4W as a freshman, working alongside senior members of the executive team. As a local of Worcester County, his favorite part of the W4W project is witnessing hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers dedicate their time to reinvigorating the city we all call home.
Chris Auray Co-Director of Site Development Chris Auray is a senior political science major from Fairfield, CT. He is the Co-Director of Site Development and the media contact for the organization. He looks forward to returning to the city of Worcester and reconnecting with the community after a year living in Washington, D.C. and Ireland.
Noah Magid Director of Inventory
Noah is a Junior at College of the Holy Cross. Born and raised in Worcester, he is a Political Science major. He joined Working for Worcester in his first year on campus wanting to help out the city he came from. His favorite memory was experiencing parts of the city that he has never has a chance to see before and seeing the transformation of the many sites. Noah's favorite things about Worcester are its culture of art and fantastic food.
Jeff Horne Chief Technology Officer
Jeff is a Senior at the College of the Cross from Pleasanton, CA. He is an Economics major with minors in Computer Science and Art History. This is his fourth year involved with the project. In his fourth year, he will be focused on providing the technolgy infrastructure of the project. Working for Worcester has allows him to give back to a city that has provided him with a wonderful setting for college.
Maureen Kade Assistant Director of PR, Events, and Social Media (PRESM)
Maureen is a Sophomore at College of the Holy Cross on the Pre-Business track. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, she has made Worcester her second home. Maureen joined the team in her Freshman year, and was inspired at her first W4W rally to see so many different people join forces outside of City Hall. She is excited to use her next three years at the school to continue working for this organization and to find creative ways to bring Worcester’s people together!
Savannah Haverty Assistant Director of Volunteer Recruitment
Savannah is currently a sophomore at the College of the Holy Cross from Northbridge, MA just outside the Worcester area. She is undeclared but considering an english major and a deaf studies minor. Following in the footsteps of two older siblings, she became involved in working for Worcester her freshmen year. Her favorite part of W4W is being a part a large group of committed people who devote their time to making Worcester a greater city than it already is.
